Phase 3-4 on P90 and Week 3-4 on Biggest Loser DVD

Hey everyone, I have transitioned over to phase 3-4 on both DVD's so its now approximately 40 mins every morning. Alternating between Cardio and Sculpting. I have the endurance and energy to do the DVD without stopping completely. A little moment here and there to rest while doing the cardio but I'm not completely stopping.

I can feel the changes in my body, I still dont have a scale, because I keep forgetting to buy one, however, I dont really know if I want one. I think I will obsess over the number and become discouraged on certain days. Eventually I will buy one.

Easy to over indulge .

Now a days is sooooooo easy to go way over your caloric intake in ONE sitting at a restaurant. It's ridiculous how many calories you can accumulate without even realizing it.
Portions are huge and filled with good old , salt, sugar , and fat. Most of the times, you go over your limit with just a drink and half an appetizer. That's just sad. Eating out is an art, learning what to eat in a setting where everyone is just stuffing their face with the "greasy goodness".
Not only are portions huge in the restaurants ,but you can get caught with snacks. Reading the label is VERY important, that bag of chips probably has 2-3 servings in there. You probably over looked that and just consumed 130*3= 390 calories for a simple snack.
I believe when you start to read labels , you begin to make a more conscious choice. Aiding to your weight loss instead of effing it up.
READ LABELS PEOPLE, and moderation is key.

Good Morning World,

Today I DID NOT want to wake up to do a workout, I really wanted to roll over in bed and say forget it. Then I got up, sat down on the bed and just got myself together. Motivation or commitment? I would say commitment, I am committed to waking up and working out, motivation tends to get old. The you have to rely on something to motivate you, sometimes you cant find motivation. I think when I am committed to something, I am more likely to do it.
So today I did the Power Sculpt DVD.

Before Pictures

We are visual creatures so I will post my Before pictures.

Workouts and Eating

Power 90                   Cardio Max
Sweat 1-2                  Power Sculpt
Sculpt 1-2
This morning I felt that I was getting bored with Tony, so I pulled out the old Biggest Loser DVDs and did Cardio Max. I felt refreshed. So I think for the remaining 2 months I will switch between P90 and Biggest Loser. Its all the same thing, I'm still moving and burning calories.

When it comes to eating clean, I think I do a decent job, it could be improved. I work 8 hours a day and sometimes my schedules varies from 7:30-4:30 , or 9:00- 6:00 or 9:30- 6:30, so my break (lunch) is NEVER the same time ever. Since I started working out at home I had to FORCE myself to eat breakfast. I wouldn't eat breakfast because I had digestive problems, and it would cause me to feel like CRAP in the morning before I left for work. However, this issue is being resolved, because I am not giving it the mental attention that it needs to thrive.

On the weekends, its harder for me to stick to the eating because I'm home and there is just something about being in my home that makes me want to munch and graze. It's pretty annoying, so when I get that urge to eat something, I drink water. Water usually helps.

Start of a new begining...

OK here I am, documenting this journey that I have recently embarked on, and this time I am committed. You know what they say, when you are ready, something just clicks. Well, that has finally happened for me. Now let me start off by saying that I am not exactly perfect, and I am not doing everything 100% right, at the moment. However, we all have to start from some where.
I recently purchased the P90 home boot camp system and have been doing the routine for 5 days now, and I have committed myself to getting up at 4:30 to do the workouts. There are no excuses, because I know where I want to be and where I am heading. I have made too many excuses in the past, or just gave in to pure LAZINESS. In the end it all comes down to  "Are you happy in your own skin?" , if the answer to that question is "NO" then its time you do something about it and CHANGE.

Since starting the routine, I have lost 4 inches combined. That is a small victory , but it is movement in the right direction. I have decided to document this progress because I see a lot of women that lose weight and they show the beginning then the end. I don't see a lot of in between, or discussion about how hard it is sometimes to just stick with it.

Life isn't just the start and finish, its the process that makes you stronger. So hopefully I have enough time in my busy life to update this blog as much as possible.
